The dual compartment hot dishes present two key advantages: firstly the sauce and starch elements of a main meal are kept separated, meaning better taste and texture. Secondly, it gives more scope to menu designers, allowing them to vary which courses are served hot or cold. Dimsum starters or hot crepe desserts are just two examples which are now possible in economy using Quodpod™.

 

The pod itself also affords a more comfortable eating environment by taking up much less space than a tray meal, even when fully unfolded. At the end of the meal the pod folds up to a neat, sealed package, without any of the usual messy wrappers and precariously balanced items.
